Civil society in 150 countries advocating for a fair, effective and independent ICC

The national coalition for the Democratic Republic of Congo (CN-CPI) has officially launched a 3-year national awareness campaign, “Un jour à l’Ecole de la CPI,” in Kisangani. The campaign was inspired by the resolutions passed at the 2010 Review Conference on the principles of complementarity, cooperation, peace and justice, and victims’ participation and rights in the Rome Statute system. Its aim is to raise awareness on the ICC and its activities through debates, screenings, conferences, seminars, and cultural activities, among others. In addition, this 3 year campaign will target victims, affected communities, state institutions, civil society, universities, military officials, and religion centers among others.
